Children's Flower Arrangements for HARVEST FESTIVAL at All Saints' Chuch Longstanton

Children's Flower Arranging I look forward to seeing my "team" of flower arrangers on Saturday September 25th from 9.30 a.m. (finish by 11 a.m.). The arrangements will be used to decorate the font area for the Harvest Festival Service. Any other children from school Year 3  upwards will be most welcome to join us. If you wish to bring a few flowers, fruit and vegetables (not huge) I will make sure that they are included in the church arrangements. Pilgrimage to JORDAN  Malcolm & Sue Raby warmly invite you to join them on a Pilgrimage to JORDAN  When we think of the "Holy Land", most of us think of Israel/Palestine, but there is a wonderful land, full of biblical heritage, to the east of the Jordan River - the land of JORDAN. The trip will take place 5th - 12th October 2010 and a brochure giving full details is available in church or contact Malcolm. It really is a great country to visit, and highlights (of which there are many) will include:  Petra Wadi Rum Lot's Cave Baptismal site (where Jesus was probably baptised) Mount Nebo (where Moses was told he would not enter the Promised Land) Machaerus (where John the Baptist was imprisoned) Dead Sea
